A Development Engaging in Multi-Purpose Design

Inspired by a studio prompt to create a multi-purpose design, this environmentally and socially focused development serves as a recycling plant while curating a space for local artists to thrive. The site acting as both a waste processing facility and makerspace showcases how architecture can serve both humanity and natures simultaneously.

The building sits atop the shore and engages with a boardwalk that weaves throughout it.

The floor plan details the configuration of the rooms, the integration of art studio and recycling spaces demonstrating the possibility of a building to support both environmental and social well-being.

The section exhibits the rain screen system incorporated into the structure. This detail further shows how the building promotes environmental sustainability.
